Hi my name is Amanda Delgado and I am an intern beginning my first semester on the Training team. Being my first time working with Serve IT I am excited as to what the semester has in store for me, I know I will be gaining first hand experience that will allow me to grow, learn, and have a successful career in the future. I’ve always liked the idea of helping others, so to have the chance to combine that with something I love is a great opportunity I will never forget.

 

The training team’s goal beginning this semester is to teach clients or our fellow teams about the technological tools we will be using over this semester, and providing training on how to use those tools. One of the main duties we will be tackling is teaching the teams how to create their website using a system called Content Management System. This system will help organize, manage, store, distribute content onto webpages. We will be teaching teams how to take an HTML website and turn it into a Drupal template. Drupal is the Content Management system that we will be using. This is going to allow clients with little to no knowledge about HTML to add content to their websites.
