Vanessa Minik

DevOps Team Lead
My name is Vanessa Minik and I am a senior in the School of Informatics and Computing. My major is informatics with a cognate in telecommunications and a minor in human-centered computing. This is my fifth semester with Serve IT and my second semester as a Team Lead for DevOps. In past semesters, I have worked with the Design and User Testing team and the Development and Maintenance team. Over the summer I interned for Deloitte as a Business Solutions Intern. I learned valuable skills that I am excited to put to use with Serve IT. I enjoy running and crafting in my spare time and I am excited to have another semester with DevOps!
 

Chris Aniello

Hello! My name is Chris and I am a sophomore from Los Angeles at Indiana University studying Information Systems and Operations Management with a minor in Pyschology. I love it here in Bloomington even though I’m not used to the cold, and I’ve been lucky enough to get involved with some great organizations surrounding my passions like TeachIT! I’ve always loved technology and working within my community to make everybody better off, so I am very excited for my first year in the program!

Ethan Schrader

My name is Ethan Schrader. I am from Lafayette Indiana, and am currently a sophomore here at Indiana University. I am majoring in informatics with a minor in marketing. I also plan on getting a cognate in human-centered computing. This is my first semester with Serve IT and I look forward to working with other students and non-profit organizations. In my free time I like to hang out with friends at the house, watch sports, play video games, and exercise.

Nathan Kong

Hi, my name is Nathan Kong and I come from China. I am a junior student pursuing dual degree in Sociology and Informatics. Besides, I am also doing Liberal Arts and Management program and minor in Urban Planning. I have started Serve IT since last summer in maintenance team. I will be the second semester in DevOps team. Hopefully I can earn the back-end skills and more collaborative experience with my teammates!
 

Nina Dorenbos

Hi, my name is Nina Dorenbos. I’m a junior at Indiana University pursuing a major in Informatics with a cognate in security. This is my third semester with Serve IT and I am very excited to be a part of the Dev Ops team. I am looking forward to working with other teams, learning more technical skills, and taking sites live.

I’m from Riverside, Illinois. And in my free time I enjoy hanging out with friends and playing tennis.

 

Skyler Booth

My name is Skyler Booth. I am from the small town of Howe, Indiana. I am a senior here at

Indiana University. I am studying Informatics with a security cognate. I am also pursuing a Human-Centered Computing minor as well as finishing up my prerequisites for medical school. This is my third semester with the Serve IT Clinic and I’m excited to have the opportunity to help organizations in the Bloomington Community. When I am not working on clinic work or school work, I enjoy playing video games, playing pickup games of soccer at the Woodlawn fields, or just hanging out with friends and fraternity brothers. I am ready to work with my team to help the clinic with all of their Development Operations needs.

Ugochukwu Orizu

Kedu(Hello), my name is Ugochukwu Orizu and I am from Lagos, Nigeria. I am a Junior at Indiana University studying Informatics with a business cognate and a minor in security. I am a returning intern with Serve IT and will be part of the DevOps team for a second semester. I am really thrilled to acquire some new technical skills such as websites creation, site deployment. 

Last year, I had the opportunity to intern with the Teach IT team, which was a great learning and teaching experience for me and the kids at Boys & Girls club at Lincoln street.

Aside from the interesting things I previously mentioned, I am also the current Treasurer of the African Students Association and I usually spend my leisure time watching movies or playing soccer. I am really looking forward to the unique experience Serve IT has to offer this year.
