Students come to Serve IT with a desire to put their education into action. Strong technical skills are not required for every internship position however interest in technology and nonprofits is a must. Students will receive technical and managerial training and support throughout. Serve IT interns gain experience in:

Read what current interns have to say about Serve IT in our blog. Serve IT internship positions are open to undergraduate and graduate students from all IU departments. Internships last one semester with the option to re-apply for additional semesters. Students can register for 1-3 hours of internship credit. Students should check with his or her department for details about which requirement Serve IT participation will fulfill. See Intern Handbook for more information about internship schedule and expectations. Interested students can fill out a short application.
